Regional Chapter Structure and Programming
The Office of Alumni and Family Engagement will roll out new opportunities for volunteer leadership and engagement within Davidson’s regional chapter program. The regional chapter structure creates and supports sustained engagement and networking opportunities for all constituents in the Wildcat community.
Areas with 300+ alums are considered Regional Tiers and include formal leadership structures, updated policies and procedures, as well as other outlined requirements. Regions with fewer than 300 alums are able to host programs and opportunities to connect using the “Host a Wildcat Event” form found further down on this page.
Please check back and visit this website often for additional updates and information regarding Davidson's regional chapter program. For questions, reach out to Maia Harrell ‘20, assistant director for regional engagement, at maharrell@davidson.edu.
Don’t see your city or chapter listed above? Wondering how you can host an event or program for the Davidson community in your area? Fill out the Host a Wildcat Event form and receive support from the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement!
Please contact us at least 6 weeks in advance of your proposed event, and here’s what we can do to help:
- Two pre- and one post-event email communications to your region. Initial communications are typically sent 4-6 weeks before the event date. We ask that you keep this in mind when considering a date for your event.
- Create a registration page and share registrant information (name and class year) with the event organizer prior to the event.
- Provide up to $250 financial support (via reimbursements to organizer).
- A box of Davidson SWAG for the event (such as name tags, napkins, magnets).
