Welcome to the City
Welcome to the City events will take place in our regional chapters throughout the Fall semester.
Whether you're new to the region or have been here for years, these evenings promise engaging conversations, a chance to connect with fellow Wildcats and an opportunity to strengthen our Davidson community in intimate settings. Come catch up with old friends and make new connections!
Look Who's Coming lists are provided for each event. These lists are only updated occasionally and do not represent all event registrants or likely attendees. Check back closer to the event date for a more complete list.
If you wish to have your name taken off the list, please email Maia Harrell '20 at maharrell@davidson.edu.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the dress code?
Many attendees come to the event from work, so the most common dress is business casual. However, nice/snappy casual is also perfectly acceptable.
Note for New York City: The Club has a dress code. Neat, business casual dress, with slacks or well-kept denim. Non-collared or t-shirts are permitted only with a sweater or sport coat. No workout attire, gym/tennis shoes, shorts, flip-flops or hats on gentlemen other than religious head coverings. Outerwear and bags are checked at entry.
Are these events kid-friendly?
You are welcome to use your discretion, considering the venue and your children's ages. While it’s not common for a large number of children to attend, they are welcome.
Can I expect to see Davidson staff at these events?
Yes, staff from our College Relations division will be present at all events. Feel free to find them and ask any questions you have about Davidson today.
Will there be a formal program?
Most events will feature brief welcome remarks from chapter leaders about 30 minutes in, allowing plenty of time for networking and connection.
How do I stay connected to my chapter after the event?
Join your region's Davidson Connect group to stay informed about upcoming events and programs. If you've recently moved, be sure to update your mailing address with us to receive relevant emails. We will also follow up with all attendees after the event to share more information on staying connected with Davidson College and your community.
